Melanie was born and raised in Florida. She attended Florida State University where she majored in Interior Design. Melanie bought her first home when she was 18 years old and it sparked an interest in Real Estate and Investing. Melanie moved to Atlanta, GA after college and began working as an independent contractor in sales and marketing. During her time in Atlanta, she continued investing in the Real Estate Market and quickly discovered that she had a passion for the business.
Melanie was adopted at birth and met her biological mother and father who resided in Las Vegas. After several trips to visit them, Melanie knew that she wanted to be a part of the exploding Real Estate Market that Las Vegas offered, so in 2001 she moved from Atlanta to realize her dream
She initially joined Century 21 Aadvantage Gold and in a few short years, she obtained her ABR (Accredited Buyer’s Representative), CRS (Certified Residential Specialists) and GRI (Graduate REALTOR® Institute) Designations. She also achieved Multi Million Dollar Producer, Master’s Ruby Producer and Century 21's highest accolade of a Centurion Producer as an individual agent and Master’s Diamond Team Award (1st year Team Status). Melanie also was an agent at Nevada Real Estate Services (NRES), which later franchised to SellState NRES and Universal Realty.
After working for years in the Las Vegas and Henderson area, in 2016 Melanie recognized a need for a different kind of Real Estate Company and made the move to Signature Real Estate Group. This brokerage firm offers a very positive and comfortable environment for her and her clients and is dedicated to building strong relationships and business contacts in the communities in which we live, work and play
Melanie has been consistently recognized as a top producing agent NATIONWIDE from the beginning of her career. One of her goals was to become a “By Referral Only” agent and she is proud to share that her client base is approximately 90% referral and repeat clients.
In the last 20 years that she has been an agent, she has seen the ups and downs of the market, from recessions to booms, and she understands how to help her clients as the market changes. She knows how to work with foreclosures and short sales, in a seller's market where there are multiple offers on every home, and in a buyer's market when it is a little slower too. She prides herself on being great at negotiations for buyers and sellers and knows how to create a win win transaction for everyone involved!!
